Ultrason is a product of German BASF company, which can be divided into Ultrason E polyethersulfone (PES) and Ultrason S polysulfon (PSU) and Ultrason®P (PPSU)

Characteristic

1. Ultra-high heat resistant amorphous transparent engineering resin.
2. Ultrason® has a very high heat deflection temperature, and the UL long-term temperature index PES is 180~90°C, and the PSU is 160°C.
3. Good hydrolysis resistance, boiling water or hot steam resistance, so it is suitable for special home appliances and medical equipment.
4. The auto parts produced by PES can be used in contact with lubricating oil (150~170°C), gasoline (50°C), tank coolant (130°C), etc.
5. Plastic is flame retardant, no fire retardant is added, PES thickness 1.6mm is UL94 V-0, PSU thickness 3.2mm is UL94 V-2.
6. The amount of smoke generated by PES after combustion is particularly small, which is suitable for aviation equipment.
7. Good electrical insulation and dimensional stability, suitable for electronic parts.
