Polyphenylene Sulfide Resin

TOSOH is Japan's first manufacturer of commercially polymerized PPS resins. PPS is a crystalline, high-functional engineering thermoplastic with high heat resistance, chemical resistance, high rigidity and dimensional stability. SUSTEEL®PPS can be widely used in auto parts, electronic and electrical parts, office equipment, precision formed products and mechanical parts.

Characteristic

High heat resistance: heat deflection temperature (HDT) exceeds 260°C, continuous use temperature (RTI) exceeds 200°C。
Excellent flame retardancy: no need to add flame retardants can reach UL94 V-0 flame retardant rating (UL yellow card number: E102861).
Chemical resistance: chemical resistance and fluoroplastics are comparable, only some strong acids can dissolve PPS, organic solvents such as alcohols, toluene, esters, gasoline, lubricating oil, inorganic brine solution, some inorganic dilute acids and dilute alkalis have excellent resistance.
Dimensional stability: Due to the low linear expansion coefficient and low water absorption of PPS, the dimensional precision and stability of the molded product are excellent. 5. Mechanical properties: PPS can maintain high strength and hardness in a wide temperature range； At higher temperatures, creep resistance is good.

Formability: good fluidity, small shrinkage, excellent precision formability.
Electrical characteristics: high temperature, high humidity environment and high frequency field, excellent electrical performance; PPS is good arc resistant and comparable to thermoset plastics.

Molding conditions

Drying：150°C for 2 hours, 120°C for 5 hours [dehumidification drying / enhancement equipment recommended.

Injection temperature：280~330°C

Mold temperature：135~150°C(actual temperature of mold kernel)

Application areas

Automotive field：Electrical parts (inverters, motors, carbon brush holders, box connectors), engine parts (engine parts, water pump impellers, pump housings, control cabinets).

Electronics： Connector, Switch, RelayBobbin, Module case, LED Lamp, Cooling FanCD/DVD player parts, fiber optic connectors, electrical/electromagnetic conditioner parts, steam spray machine parts.

OA/precision instruments：printer parts, photocopier parts, various transaction machine parts.

Mechanical field：gears, chemical pumps, oil pumps, water heater parts, hydrant parts, faucet accessories.
