Celanes Hytrel® Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer(TPC-ET) combines the elasticity of rubber, the strength of engineering plastics and the processing properties of thermoplastics. Hytrel is easy to process and versatile, and develop components and products that save costs. It improve performance, and reduce weight.

Characteristic

1. Parts made with Hytrel can be bent in multiple directions and twisted back and forth multiple times, and rubber-based products may fail. A prime example is a constant velocity gimbal (CVJ) guard, a car part that withstands an average of 150,000 miles of heavy blows and a wide range of temperature variations.
2. Wide ambient temperature range application at -40° C~120° C(depending on the product structure) and low temperature resistance, low temperature in embrittlement can be as low as -98° C (depending on the specifications of different data).
3. Excellent reverse reflex elasticity/elastic resilience. ROSS Flex (Pierced) according to ASTMD1052 test standard,Hytrel 40 Shore D specification at 23°C and -40°C test values are >1,000,000 and 12,000 times; TPU of the same hardness is 150,000 times and 0 times.
4. Good tear resistance. According to ASTM D1004 / ISO 34 test standard, the tear strength of Hytrel 40 Shore D specification is 96~101 KN/m, and the TPU of the same hardness is 85~95 KN-m; The TPV of the same hardness is 52 KN-m.
5. Good oil and chemical resistance. Hytrel range products for diesel (< 90°C), standard fuel (23°C), lubricating oil (23°C), insulating oil (23°C) and acetic acid, citric acid, lactic acid, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, ammonia, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, toluene, n-ethane, isooctane, cun solution, phenolic solution... etc., with good resistance. Molding condition

Drying temperature：70~110°C/2~3hr

Drying standard：Moisture content below 0.06%(recommended: dehumidification drying / reinforcement equipment)

Injection temperature：180~240°C

Extrusion temperature：170~240°C
